Light & Medium-Duty Towing
Most vehicles that need a tow are ordinary ones: the commuter car that will not turn over, the SUV that is not safe to drive after a fender bender, the work van that quit halfway through the day. We handle light- and medium-duty towing across Fairfield and Franklin Counties.
One thing worth knowing before you call: because we do mechanic work too, it is worth describing the problem rather than just asking for a tow. A fair number of calls that start as towing end with the vehicle running again in the same parking lot. See our roadside assistance and on-site mechanic work.
Vehicles We Tow
- Sedans, coupes, and compact cars
- SUVs and crossovers
- Minivans, cargo vans, and passenger vans
- Pickup trucks, including heavier half-ton and three-quarter-ton models
- Medium-duty work trucks and similar commercial vehicles
Flatbed or Wheel Lift
Flatbed
The whole vehicle rides on the deck. No wheels touch the road, so no mileage is added and nothing in the drivetrain turns. The right call for all-wheel and four-wheel drive, low-clearance vehicles, drivetrain or suspension damage, and anything that will not roll freely.
Wheel Lift
Two wheels up, two on the ground. Faster to hook, and it fits places a flatbed cannot: tight parking structures, narrow driveways, crowded lots. Best for two-wheel-drive vehicles that roll normally.
*Not sure which one your vehicle needs? Tell us the year, make, and model, and we will sort it out on the phone.
When to Call Us
- The engine will not start and a jump has not solved it
- You have been in an accident and the vehicle is not safe to drive
- Transmission, axle, or suspension trouble that makes rolling unsafe
- The vehicle needs to reach a repair shop, dealership, or body shop
- A car that has been parked for a long stretch and needs moving
